Monday was a busy day but unfortunately we were primarily in places where we could not take photos. We started at the York Glaziers Trust for a tour of the studio where they are conserving the 14th-century East window from York Minster. It has been a nine-year process but they are almost done. It was amazing to learn how difficult and painstaking the process is.
Next we traveled to Stratford upon Avon where the students toured Shakespeare's birthplace. We were the last group of the day so they let us take our time and the students were able to interact with the actors on site. Alyssa Rands recited a soliloquy when asked if anyone knew any Shakespeare. The students then had time to explore the town.
